Prior to working in the insurance field, Jackie was a partner in a law firm focused on civil litigation, with a specialization in insurance subrogation. She also worked in acquisitions at a large regional bank, and as an associate at an investment banking firm. Alongside these roles, she’s a lifetime entrepreneur, owning and running various businesses.
Jackie’s experiences and background, along with her desire to help others create a solid financial future, make her an invaluable resource to help guide you in choosing the best premium finance strategy.
When she isn’t focused on premium finance solutions for clients, you might find her somewhere flying airplanes, soaking up the sun with a great book, at a poker table, or playing sports…most likely golf.

Jennifer graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree of Science in Accounting and has been licensed in Texas as a Certified Public Accountant for over fifteen years. She has a wide breadth and depth of financial accounting and planning experience. Her work experience includes; PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Personal Financial Services department, a private wealth management company, a family-held corporation, and a hedge fund.
When Jennifer steps away from analyzing and planning for clients. You will often find her relaxing by the pool in Cypress, TX with her husband Justin, and their two sons, Lawson and Bennett.

Ashley is the lead case designer for the Hughes & Baker team. Her forward thinking, engaging approach ensures the premium finance designs she delivers are in the best interest of each and every client. Working closely with Jennifer, Jackie, agents, advisors and clients, her tailored plans address both the benefits and risks of utilizing premium finance. Ashley understands the importance of estate, retirement and business succession planning, and enjoys helping others take control of their current and future financial needs.
Ashley graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s in Economics. She worked as a business office manager for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center before moving to Dallas to pursue a career at a large hedge fund.
Ashley lives in Coppell, TX with her husband, Ryan. They enjoy their weekends together as a family attending their kids, Hannah’s (10) and Winston’s (9) extracurriculars.
Jammie Lowe

Jammie’s passion is helping clients with creative solutions to achieve their financial goals through well-established processes and strategies. He works tirelessly to ensure clients’ best interests are always the drive behind his financial plans and advice.
Jammie graduated from Central Christian College of the Bible with a Bachelor’s degree in General Ministry and a focus on theology and philosophy. He served on the mission field in Mexico right out of college, and for the last decade has been serving clients with their financial planning and execution needs.
Jammie lives in Albuquerque, NM and co-parents his two sons, Ari and Ezra.

Karen’s passion and expertise lie in field underwriting and case management for high-net-worth individuals. Her nearly 40 years of underwriting experience provides unparalleled support to both clients and the Hughes & Baker team.
Karen approaches each case with the goal of helping that client secure their financial future. Her laser focused efforts inevitably ensure a successful outcome.
When it comes to complex underwriting cases, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and understanding procedures and guidelines of all the top life insurance carriers, she is the best in the business.
Karen lives in Houston, TX with Tony, her husband of 33 years. They have two daughters, Tiffany and Teanna, along with a four-legged child, their dog Bella. When she does take time to rejuvenate and relax, you will often find Karen boating, enjoying time at the lake, reading, or watching the occasional Hallmark movie.

Tiffany is more than just an established professional with over 10 years of experience in management and digital marketing. Her dedication to her work, clients and co-workers has elevated her to the top of her field in both academia, where she graduated cum laude from the University of Houston majoring in marketing and professionally, where she’s quickly risen to management positions.
Tiffany’s work ethic, leadership, and ability to navigate many different responsibilities, makes her integral to the success of Hughes and Baker’s elite underwriting team. She is customer focused and excels in providing the best service to our clients.
Beyond the office, Tiffany is energetic and active, enjoying health and fitness, time at the lake along with many other outdoor activities. She stays highly motivated and focused, often listening to the teachings of Joyce Meyer. Tiffany lives in League City, TX with her husband, Danny, and their Maltese, Layla.
Josh Bergstrom

Josh focuses on providing the technological and system processes that provide the greatest efficiency and highest levels of client satisfaction. He continuously strives to incorporate the most effective processes to help clients.

Josh is an 18 year veteran of the U.S. Army and continues his service today in the Army Reserves. He graduated from the University of Maine, Orono and today splits time between Northwest Arkansas and Iowa.
He spends time visiting his son Morgan, who attends Drake University in Des Moines, IA, and raising his daughter Samantha in Fayetteville, AR. Much of his free time is spent coaching softball with Sam.
Justin was born and raised in Oklahoma, but soon found his home in Texas.
After graduating college, he was commissioned as an infantry officer in the Army deploying to both Kosovo and Iraq as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. While on active duty, Justin earned his MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Dallas.
Following active duty, Justin attended the South Texas College of Law in downtown Houston where he graduated with honors.
Today, Justin is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserves serving as the Chief Operations Officer for the 350th Civil Affairs Command out of Pensacola, FL. Having completed War College he continues working towards an advanced law degree from Texas A&M University and is dedicated to making a difference in the local community by volunteering as a mentor for “at risk” youth. Justin is a devoted husband to Jennifer Baker and loving father to his two sons, Lawson and Bennett. He enjoys bay fishing and spending time with his family.
